Meridian Travel (“Meridian,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a premium travel operating system. We believe your travel data is your private business. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used, and how we protect it across our mobile applications (iOS and Android) and website.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you create an account via Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive basic identifiers (name, email address). We do not have access to your passwords.
• Travel & Itinerary Data: Information you input into Meridian, including flight numbers, hotel bookings, tasks, expenses, and geographic check-ins for your Passport.
• Device & Usage Data: Diagnostic information, crash reports, and anonymous analytics to help us ensure the application runs flawlessly.

2. The Secure Vault (Zero-Knowledge Architecture)

Meridian includes a Secure Vault for storing highly sensitive documents (e.g., passports, visas, credit cards). We do not collect or transmit this data. The Secure Vault operates on a strictly local, zero-knowledge architecture. All vault data is encrypted and stored exclusively on your device's local hardware, protected by your native biometric security (Face ID / Touch ID / PIN). We cannot access, view, or recover this data if you lose your device.

3. How We Use Information

• To sync your itineraries and travel data seamlessly across your authorized devices.
• To query third-party aviation and hospitality APIs to provide you with live flight routing, aircraft details, and hotel information (done anonymously).
• To send necessary push notifications regarding flight status, task deadlines, and group trip updates.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure compliance with our Terms of Use.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted infrastructure partners (like secure cloud hosting and authentication providers) strictly necessary to operate the service, or when legally compelled by a valid subpoena or court order.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You maintain full control over your data. You can delete individual trips or your entire account at any time directly within the Meridian app settings. Upon initiating account deletion, your cloud-synced travel data and profile will be permanently erased from our active servers. Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
